With the weather not being so great…

The park isn’t much of an option this bank holiday

I am glad that I have my little run-around car, and have considered taking the kids to the ‘duck walk’ at Langdon Hills nature reserve, but I don’t want them dirtying the car.  It may just be just using the trampoline in the garden between rain showers…

I have just realised the spell checker isn’t working for some reason and this post could be full of typos.

The Stanford Le Hope and Corringham carnival was a good afternoon out, and the 2 mile walk really tired the girls out. The eldest one sat down and refused to walk the last half mile, she is worse than the little ones at times!

Southend in the evening was a bit of a washout, we couldn’t get parked and it was too cold to sit on the beach and watch the fireworks, so after a quick paddle we came back home again.

Now, would Kev think it strange if I just went and sat in my little car and read my book in peace and quiet?
