Wedding Fayres in Essex

Lately I have seen a load of these being advertised, having decided spur of the minute 6 months ago to get married, I cannot grasp why some bride and their grooms take so long in planning ‘the happiest day of their life, so far’ ;-)

St. Cleres Hall for weddings

St. Clere's Hall for weddings

Our local golf club is holding a wedding fayre event on the 9th of November 2008, St. Clere’s Hall.  What makes this wedding fayre different is that is has a grooms creche! :-) I predict that could make all the difference to a groom who isn’t as involved in the planning as the bride is.

Contact St. Clere’s Hall for further details, they also do the wedding there, and as you can see from the photo, it’s a beautiful building.

Crafts for Christmas at Hylands House

If you are looking for something to do in Essex the weekend of 8th NOvember 2008, Hylands House are hosting a craft fair between 10 am and 4pm each day.

This is a way to support local traders and craftsmen in the run up to Christmas. The event is being organised by The Guild of Essex Craftsmen and this means that the crafts are all locally made, as they do not allow imports or franchises to belong to the guild.

Entry costs just £3.50 and that include the admission to Hylands House  which is a good afternoon out :-) it has magnificent grounds (Hylands park is home to the V festival) and the interior is very nice too, the main ballroom has a cracking ceiling!
