Puppy Play Dates

With Kev enjoying having a new Rottweiler puppy, and with  Spartacus settling in nicely Kev decided that it was time to book his jabs in.

So while I was enjoying the A13 at 5pm, he was calling the vet to book in the jabs. He gets chatting to the vet (after the vet had fell about laughing over the dogs name!) and the vet started to tell him about the puppy play dates that they organise. Yes, you did read that right… play dates for Puppies…. they get all the new puppy owners  to bring in their puppies and socialise them together.

I am sure it’s a good idea in reality, it just seems totally mad! so I have said Kev can do this part of owning a dog, it is after all his dog…

He has also booked in his training sessions, and that’s a family event too. He  contacted the London and South East Rottweiler club, conveniently located just up the road in Laindon, Essex.  They also do puppy foundation training which helps socialise Spartacus. With all this socialising, he is going to be the friendliest dog around!

Next Kev will be wanting to buy the puppy a T-shirt with ’security ‘ emblazoned across the front of it. I will draw the line at a studded collar though.
