Christmas parcels
Over the last 5 years I have gained nieces and nephews all over the country, I have two 20 miles away in Chelmsford, four 400ish miles in Blackpool, three in Suffolk and two another 350 miles away in Torquay.
So Christmas and Birthday parcels have to be either ordered direct and then sent to their house, and their parents wrap it on our behalf or I have to post it myself and this is where the fun begins…
Why do shops put toys in awkward shaped boxes? why does the paper from certain supermarkets seem tissue paper thin when its around a present?
Even though we wrap car exhausts, bumpers and other items of machinery to go through the parcel networks, why is it a kids toy defeats all attempts at safe packaging?
Saturday I bought my nieces their Christmas presents. I found nice square boxes and they were a dream to wrap BUT they didn’t fit into the lovely bags I bought with kittens on them
I guess I cannot have it all ways!
